Color Wheels!

My first assignment for the Color Theory class with Mr. Schuster. These are the two color wheels that we were asked to make; the additive and the subtractive color wheel.

For the additive (white) color wheel i used colored pencils which made a softer blend i guess. As for the subtractive color wheel (black) i used dry pastels, as a result it is sooo easily smudged. Mr. Scuster said that we can use hairspray as a cheaper alternative for the fixative spray to make the color wheels smudge-proof, but since i don't have one i used the colorless fixative spray. Worked like a charm.

 Practice
Finished color wheels

After i was done with the color wheels, i had to make the background and decorations. It was the hard part because i had to think of a concept that's original. I decided to make a zombie, wearing rayban eyeglasses as the color wheels. I also added the skull interior to make it more interesting.

Done!
